Football Training

Football is the most physcially demanding sport.  Every game and practice your body takes a pounding.  Strength and conditioning plays a vital role in ensuring that your body can take the abuse it encounters during a season.  A consistent and well planned training regimen can help reduce the risk of injury, keep you on the field, and ensure a high level of performance on the field.

At NX Level we work to develop sport-specific power to help each individual athlete reach his or her performance goals.  Power development is accomplished through speed and strength training.

Speed Training

Specifically a football player has to be able to decelerate properly from a jump, to an athletic stance, and then explode out laterally or clear his hips to change directions.

Acceleration is key in getting to top speed as quickly as possible both defensively and offensively.

Strength Training

Point of contact occurs at every position. To take on that contact, you have to be prepared physically to sustain that impact every down.

At NX Level we use all full body lifts such as Olympic lifting, front and back squats, all angles of pressing with bars and dumbbells. These lifts improve total body development, movement, flexibility and conditioning for the sport of football.
